Dos Santos is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of São Paulo in Ribeirão Preto. With a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, Daniel was vice president of the Brazilian Society of Econometrics and is currently the coordinator of the Laboratory for Studies and Research in Social Economics (LEPES), in addition to being a member of the Scientific Committee of the Núcleo Ciência pela Infância (NCPI).
Daniel is especially dedicated to understanding issues related to child development and social-emotional development in the school context.
