Raquel is a Professor of Economics at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá (Colombia). She has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of New York and a Master’s and a Bachelor’s Degree from the Universidad de los Andes. Her research focuses on the determinants of human capital, specifically the early stages of life, social policy, labor economics, and impact assessment.
Raquel worked on the evaluation of several programs with more than 30 thousand children, working together with the government to improve and innovate policies for early childhood.
